Our Philosophy

Our approach is simple - we do what works best for your dog.

We know your dog is unique, that's why our training system is completely tailored to the dog in front of us rather than using cookie cutter methods for every dog. Using our balanced training approach, we believe in building motivation to be sure our dogs have a positive outlook on training.

Putting emphasis on establishing clear communication, and creating strong bonds between handler and canine, it's our goal to not only create a well-behaved companion, but one that enjoys what they're doing.

Victoria - Founder

My journey began by helping dogs who were losing their homes. Through fostering, I met many different breeds with a wide range of behavioral issues. That’s when my studies began. To my surprise, a lot of dogs who were labeled “problematic” on the outside were actually showing something very different from what they felt inside.

My own dogs became a huge asset in the process. They helped build neutrality and confidence in dogs who were fearful or had trouble getting along with others. I learned quickly that what worked for one dog might not work for another—and that pushed me to get creative.

As I kept learning, I was exposed to a wide range of training styles, which gave me a diverse set of tools to pull from. I eventually became fascinated by more advanced concepts and got involved in the sport world. I currently have three sport dogs who train in Herding, PSA, AKC Obedience, and Retrieving.

After years of hands-on experience and study, I started pursuing certifications that reflected the methods I had been developing over time. I’ve completed several Michael Ellis courses, including his flagship trainer’s certification: The Principles of Dog Training. I also graduated from the NePoPo® Silver School and have trained under top instructors like Ivan Balabanov, Pat Stuart, Ben Lepenski, STSK9, Shield K9, Denise Fenzi, and Method K9.

Before launching my own business, I spent time working professionally in the dog training industry—where I had the chance to test and refine what I’d built.
